The company holds a hair restoration clinic named for his late mother, which builds custom cranial prostheses for Black textured hair on a healing scalp, and a private studio room professionals rent by the hour to practice in. He is licensed in Virginia, DC, and Maryland, a licensed cosmetology educator in Virginia, a Certified Cranial Prosthesis Engineer, and a Student of Trichology (IAT). He spent ten years in university partnership and talent program leadership at Google and Netflix before entering beauty in 2023.

Most of these exist because the alternative is a claim I am not licensed to make, or a sentence that undoes the reason the thing was built. If you need to depart from one, ask me first.
- Always Our S.P.A.C.E. — the acronym with periods. Never "Our Space" or "OurSPACE."
- Full concept name on first use, then the short form: The Donna Jean Hair Restoration Clinic, The Lab, Prism.
- Prism concept names carry a trailing period as part of the mark — The Clinic., The Undertone., The Match. The Lab takes none.
- Prism is a working name, pending trademark clearance. Say so on first use in anything published.
- Built for Black, Brown & Queer folx by design; open to everyone by law. Do not flatten it to "a welcoming space for all," and do not imply anyone is screened at the door.
- The TONE Standard is a standard, not a suite. It is "proven across the full range of skin tones," never "also works on."
- No medical, therapeutic, or clinical claims for the parent company, The Lab, or Prism.
- The credential is Student of Trichology (IAT). Never "Trichologist," and trichology is never described as a service.
- No reimbursement guarantees and no predicted coverage outcomes.
- NGLCC and Virginia SWaM certification marks are third-party artwork. Reference them by name; do not redraw them.
- Do not name the host salon brand of the building on anything that also carries The Lab. Address and neighborhood only.
